This really glows!
I haven’t embroidered with this but charged this under a standard lightbulb for a few hours and checked it in the dark-this glow is awesome! Don’t come at me for my messy shelf lol.I’m using this to embroider song lyrics into patches for a battle skirt I’m making. I hope it glows as well after embroidering. I’ll do my best to update this review after I do.

Cheap string, not thread.
Probably spend your money on something else. The thread has no visible glow after leaving it in the window all day and broke three times while I was tying the knot through the needle. Literally not even usable.
