Nice olives very tasty and great value

Tried without success to find Spanish olives in olive oil, so bought these Greek olives as they are advertised as being packed in olive oil, which they are, albeit very little, but enough.However, despite this, there is a distinct salty tang which betrays that they have been in contact with brine at some point in their lives.I can achieve this myself at far lower cost by buying 500g of Sainsbury's olives, draining, rinsing and drying, then repacking the same olives back into the jar with actual olive oil. Result - Spanish olives, in oil, for a great deal less!Verdict: These olives are OKish, but don't match what can commonly be found in a Spanish supermarket, so the next best thing is to do the job yourself!
