I have been on the hunt for a camera bag insert for my d5600 kit that I could easily slip into a tote or backpack. I have to say, I could not be more pleased. The construction is fantastic, and I can fit everything I need for light shooting. Usually, as I try to travel light, I run with the following setup: d5600 with 35mm prime lens on the body, with wrist strapped attached, and either the 18-55mm kit lens or 50mm prime secondary lens, in a neoprene sleeve. This leaves me with enough room to also fit my SB-400 speedlight, in its case, in with the lens, as well as a pair of backup batteries. The divider is easy to re-position and the velcro holds securely. I really appreciate the mesh pockets on the top of the case for my extra SD cards. And there's still more room, if I need it, with the two pockets on either side of the bag. These are slip pockets, but they're secured by velcro, so no need to worry about them gaping open when I move from bag to bag. The carrying handles are great, and the bag is constructed so that when you carry it by the handles, the top of the case, which is also secured by velcro 'locks in' and keeps everything in its place. I also really like that, unlike many other camera bag inserts, it actually has a top, so that, if you're using it inside another bag, you're not risking anything falling into the insert as you move other things around inside. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

The quality is really good, much better than I expected. Just to nitpick though, I wish they had a bigger piece of velcro or put in magnets for the lid... the little piece they have on there isn't very effective at keeping it closed... but it shouldn't be an issue since it will be inserted in a bag anyway.The size is perfect for my Nikon z5, and sides are protective but flexible enough to collapse a bit if I need to fit other things in my backpack.

A little thin on the bottom where I was hoping there would be some extra protection as I put the bag down, but other than that I have no other complaints.

Good quality. Padding is a little light but it makes it very modular and can be slipped into any other bag easily. I use this frequently and would by again.

There is not enough Velcro on the lid to keep it securely in place. I wish this had a zipper; I'm not confident that the lid will stay closed.

I am using to carry my film camera rig within my older Timbuk2 messenger bag. Holds my Canon FTB, and light meter with room for filters, extra film, lens pen, and a small notebook. Small enough so that I can still fit other items in my bag too. Might pick up an extra to keep my other go to camera rigs ready to go with accessories. Just swap out the inserts and go.

I've been searching high and low of an actual camera bag with all the zippers, pockets and high price tags. This case fits one extra lens, one mirrorless camera (w/lens attached), and a little Apeture LED light perfectly. The case fits nicely in my 8L backpack along with a Tech Pouch, to keep all my other camera things like batteries, chargers, filters etc.
