Fantastique !!
Lulu Learns French is fantastic. It is very high quality in every way. My grandson in the attached photo loved it from the first time I read it with him and sang along with the songs. I want him to be at least bilingual so I'm starting him early on learning French. Peipei's book is a wonderful first step.

All songs are sung in French but the American words are printed on the page.
Absolutely precious little book. I had never heard some of these nursery rhymes and the one about the Elephant has been stuck in my head for days! My grandson loved it.

Great for the child to learn American songs in French language
When I first saw this I thought it was traditional French songs, but only found out they are common American songs in the French language. The child's father is French.

held up well.
I already have several books in this brand and they have held up pretty well with only some page separation near the spine on some of the books. This French song book was everything I expected. I like how the songs sound, with a real person singing instead of an electronic voice. There are two volume levels so the sound isn’t too loud. The songs are pleasant with catchy tunes and not too short or too long.Lyrics are side-by-side in English and French, but all the songs are in French.I don’t know French so I don’t know if the lyrics are translate well, but I noticed that the French version gives the spider a name instead of calling it a little spider. My kids love this book and they can find the right song for the right page.

Cute Way To Introduce a New Language to a Little One
Kids learn foreign languages easier than adults and I'm doing my best to expose my three year old niece to French and Italian every time I see her. This is a great way to make learning fun and engaging for her as she is definitely musically inclined. The book is sturdy, cute, and easy for her to hold and operate on her own, which is important as independence is another skill she and all children need to develop. Highly recommended.

Meh.
So I'm coming at this review from the perspective of a child.First thing is that none of the songs announce the name so a child isn't going to necessarily be on the right page when they are listening.Second is that this does not sing in both French and English. The songs are only sung in French. That is the most disappointing because it says, right on the front, "Children's songs in French and English..." They do have it written in both languages, but that's not as helpful for a younger child. So, if they announced the name of the song and sang both in English and French, then this would be an excellent book. It's well made, not annoying sounding, sung well, and should last for a long time. But, because of those two critical things I wouldn't recommend it.

Musical French book
My daughter-in-law is French and takes my almost 2-year old grandson to French class once a week. She said he is absolutely obsessed with this book and will listen to it on repeat. She also confirmed that the songs are translated correctly to French. The book is solid, made well and she said, compared to other sing along books, of superior quality. I have to note that my husband and I acually have a cat named Lulu who my grandson adores, so this was especially adorable.I love that Lulu Learns French is a part of my grandson's childhood.
