Stylish and Effective
The helmet itself is very stylish and lightweight. Although I have fell off my bike and hit my head once, the part of my face that was hit was not covered by the helmet. So there has not been any impact testing as of yet. The visor is probably the best thing about this product. In the pictures, I have displayed how the visor can be flipped upside down and reattached to the helmet’s magnets. This visor keeps me from having to purchase addition eye protection. I really prefer these due to the wide coverage over the face to keep debris and bugs from hitting my eyes during cycling. Easily adjustable. Quite intuitive in design. For the price, this was a very praiseworthy buy. I also purchased one for my fiancé (in pink) and she loves it also. Highly recommend this for anyone who is not a brand-loyalist or seeking a high-end brand.Disclaimer: I am an intermediate cyclist, so I have not compared this product to any performance brand helmets.

Know what you're buying!
No complaints, but knows what you're buying! This company is "Easecamp" NOT "Basecamp". The helmet is great and has a very functional magnetic visor. Not the most comfortable, but very lightweight and gives you ample protection from flying debris. It doesn't look great at all without the visor, so I definitely recommend wearing it at all times unless you're riding at night. Unlike the Basecamp helmet, the visor doesn't have a mirror gloss over it and there is no insect net on the inside. The sticker logo on the sides of the helmet DO say Basecamp so you don't look stupid for buying a "knockoff" :)

This helmet was very comfortable. I like the shade
This helmet was very comfortable. I like the shade. If I understand the safety of bicycle helmets correctly the strap should click together in the middle of your face under the chin. And the side adjustment should fit under the ears. No matter how hard I tried the right side was too long and the left too short. I am returning it because I was hit by a car many years ago, my head hit the cement and safety is now my priority. I am returning the helmet and making sure the next one is safety compliant.

Yet another helmet not designed to fit my head shape... aggravating.
The helmet kept giving me headaches every time I wore it and the helmet left red indentation marks on my forehead. Even though my head measurements met the dimensions of the helmet because of my head shape it was not a comfortable fit. This helmet was designed more for people with round heads and not oval shaped heads. If the helmet was a centimeter longer it would have fit more comfortably on my head.As for the eye shield, it does fit over glasses but if you do not want the eye shield pressing the glasses into your nose and causing pain I recommend not wearing glasses with a width larger than 135mm. My plastic frame glasses were too large to fit comfortably under the eye shield. I had to purchase smaller frame glasses. It is a shame the helmet did not work out for me because it matched the color scheme of my cycling clothes perfectly... Oh well, fortunate I did find a similar helmet in my colors that does fit; although it does not completely match my cycling clothes.

Cool looking and functional.
The helmet was pretty good, I don't need to wear my sunglasses with the magnetic visor; I just wear my normal glasses. It is also cool to flip the visor upside down when you don't use it or when you walk into a store for a quick item. You won't lose it and it looks like any other helmet if people don't pay attention. The helmet is made well; same quality as you could get at walmart for the same or a slightly cheaper price.I like the adjustable part on the back of the helmet, it really can fit any head size I guess. You might need to adjust the straps a few times to get the helmet to sit well on your head. You would know if it isn't; your visor wouldbe a bit high and your line of vision would be near the lower part of the visor. One last thing that people might like to know: the magnet is considered strong. It won't fall off at high speed riding or windy days.

Much smaller than the basecamp version. The visor doesn't clear my glasses on this helmet. But the basecamp one does. Its double the cost but well worth it to have something that fits.

Tight fit with glasses
I bought this helmet to provide wind and dust protection over my glasses. I have a very strong prescription so the cost for prescription sport glasses would be very high. I wear a small frame and I am at the small limit size for the helmet, the shield does clear the glasses ever so slightly. They do occasionally touch when I swing my head right and left I'm hoping this won't be a problem. The quality of the helmet looks very nice and it is comfortable and would not hesitate to recommend it. If you are looking for a solution for fitting over glasses it may work for you as well but be warned that there is very little spare room behind the glasses, don't try if you are wearing anything other than a very small frame.

I bought this for the high rating, I should have known this
I bought this because it had a high rating and it looked nice. What I didn't know it that the visor scratches too easily to be practical. What I didn't know is that the pads inside the helmet could not survive a single wash. What I don't want to find out is whether or not the foam would protect my head in an accident. My brain is way too precious, unlike a heart, I can't have my brain replaced. I am extremely disappointed in this company, too bad you pay before knowing for sure the product works as desired. I believe we should only review a product after going over 70% of it's expected lifetime. If we do it before this period, we risk misleading other buyers. Especially when we fail to update our reviews. Now you know what I din't know!
