Missing part
The item came with a missing nut that holds the spools handle onto the reel .I ended up dropping the handle on my first trip out.Communicated with Shakespeare reels and have gotten nowhere.They keep asking for information and whatever I send them isn't enough.I don't know what to do

So far it's a good buy that works as advertised.
It was fairly easy to use. I only used it once. I will see this summer if it still performs. There is no reverse on the reel. It is not necessary, sometimes I like to use it. Other than that rod and reel were fine.

Perfect Fathers day gift
So I got this fishing pole for a Father's day gift. My dad thought it was the perfect gift for the summer. We haven't used it yet but we plan to drive to Valdez ak to go pink Salmon fishing. Me and my family love fishing! Plus it was a great price and when we got it, it was in great condition. The size is perfect for salmon and other big ocean fish! The reel is super smooth so we definitely can't wait to try that out!
