Couldn't use it
I wasn't able to use it. My yarn ball - just a regular size skein that I balled up hand - was tight enough that the yarn didn't flow out easily and kept getting hung up. Really couldn't use it. I really wanted to like the it because it seemed like the perfect solution. Why not make it just a tad bigger? Again, my yarn balls were not over-sized at all. I watched the videos on it and never saw anything that showed that the yarn was tight. I tried different ones too. It was a lot of money too.

Better than my fancy yarn bowls.
This item does exactly what the maker says it will. I used it on a flight and it didn't budge. It is light weight, stable, and fits in my knitting bag or tote. One thing I really like is that I can take it apart and remove the ball of yarn without having to cut the yarn. I purchased the extra pack of plugs for extra security, but I don't think I really needed them.

Must Add to Knitting Bag
A little pricey but a great tool since it allows changing yarn for different projects, keeps yarn out of reach of pets, protects and allows smooth delivery of yarn without pulling and compromising the integrity of the yarn. Sturdy design with rubber base that can be used virtually any where.

What a wonderful product. Exactly as expected. So happy I did it for myself. I have 2 pets and I did my best to keep their hair out of it but nothing did as good as this product.
