works as advertised with propane torch .
Works as advertised but there is a learning curve to using the brazing rods

Definitely does the job!
I used this product to put back together the peacock in my backyard. It broke at one of the legs. I was worried that it would not hold up the weight of the peacock and the big rock, but it worked great and it’s still holding up and just spray-painted a little over it. Great product and easy to use. Thank you!

Do the Job
First comment is kind of expensive for the number of rods in the package. It is as advertised but still expensive for what you get. From a use perspective, they work well. I used these braze rods to put together a custom fit stove pipe connection. I was able to use MAPP/Pro gas to get them to melt. Probably not ideal amount of heat, it pretty much just gets the job done although it is hot enough with MAPP/Pro to melt the rods. I was able to get a solid braze without any extra flux so that is a plus. Overall good braze rods, just kind of pricey but if you have a smaller job to complete , does the trick.

its not 1/16 inch, its 1/8 inch and hard to melt.
followed instructions, but even when the part is red hot, the rod just doesnt melt. I use map gas and heated for over 15 minutes.......really hard to use. Additionally, its not 1/16 inch, its 1/8 so its harder to melt. i might try crushing and flattening it before feeding it next time....I have over 3 1/2 rods to use. Only needed about a half inch of rod. Please send me the 1/16 rod!!! I am sure they will work much better.

Worked really well for the repair I needed to do. Worked with just my map gas torch

Bzzzt....
I won't go into detail, but the short version is that on AC brazing projects I thought this would be better than the fluxless rods I had been using. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09C3S9KRG?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1Having experience with flux coated arc welding rods, I though these would surely be better. Bzzzzt....Trying to use these rods, my project got completely buggered up. After the damages were done, I went back to the aforementioned rods....heaven.Having said all this, they may be fine for brazing chunks of metal, but definitely not for copper tubing. The melting point is the same or higher.
